Three time Oscar winner Greg Cannom has been hired to transform the looks of Shah Rukh Khan, India’s most recognizable star.

Preparations are now under way for a start of production in July this year on “Fan,” a new Khan vehicle being produced through Bollywood studio Yash Raj Films.

The story involves Khan playing with the notions of celebrity and will require many physical and facial changes.

The film is set for release on Aug. 14, 2015, a day before India’s Independence Day holiday. The date represents a shift away from a potential clash with an untitled Kabir Khan-directed star vehicle for muscle-man Salman Khan.

“Fan” is to be directed by Maneesh Sharma from a script by Habib Faisal. It will be produced by YRF’s Aditya Chopra.

Special make-up effects are to be supervised by Greg Cannom, nine-time Oscar nominee and three time winner for “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” (2008), “Mrs. Doubtfire” (1993) and “Dracula” (1992).

I spent 3 minutes googling it, and although it’s REALLY important for SOME people to label those countries as ¨Middle East¨, people who are continentiphiles [a word I made up, but its definition is FRICKING OBVIOUS] all acknowledge them as part of Asia, not Europe. SO who are you to burst their bubble? That was a *rhetorical* question SO please do not reply.

They’re small countries, but not small enough to be moved out of Asia.
