'The Chumscrubber' director Arie Posin will direct and co-write with Nicholas Kazan

Glenn Close is set to star in Arie Posin’s drama “Duchess,” which is based on the true life story of Anna Anderson, who claimed to be the Russian grand duchess Anastasia.

Posin will direct, penning the script with “Reversal of Fortune” scribe Nicholas Kazan.

Story follows Anderson, who, after the courts forcibly put her into a retirement home in Charlottesville, Va., in 1983, is broken out by her American husband, Jack Manahan. Together they evade the authorities across rural Virginia to have the honeymoon they never had.

Close, who is repped by CAA, recently wrapped Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” which bows this summer.

Posin’s pic “Face of Love” bows on March 7 and stars Ed Harris and Annette Bening. He is repped by WME.
