Comedy set to open April 25

Focus World has released the first trailer for the Elizabeth Banks comedy “Walk of Shame,” three months before its April 25 opening.

Banks portrays an aspiring reporter whose dreams of becoming a network news anchor are compromised after a one-night stand leaves her stranded in downtown Los Angeles, pursued by the cops. “Omigod, there’s a woman in a yellow dress trying to cross the freeway,” a news helicopter pilot intones at one point.

“Walk of Shame,” directed by Steven Brill from his own script, co-stars James Marsden and Gillian Jacobs. The movie is produced by Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment.
