Film Movement Taps Michael Rosenberg as Co-President

Michael Rosenberg Film Movement

Indie distributor Film Movement has sold an equity stake to veteran exec Michael E. Rosenberg and tapped him as co-president alongside Adley Gartenstein.

Rosenberg previously spent over 26 years at Entertainment One U.S. and its predecessor company Koch Entertainment before leaving last fall.

Gartenstein has served as Film Movement’s president since 2007.

Recent Film Movement acquisitions include “A Thousand Times Good Night,” starring Juliette Binoche and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and Alejandro Fernandez Almendras’ Sundance World Cinema Dramatic Grand Jury Prize winner “To Kill a Man.”
