“Autobahn” starts production Monday, with lead financing by IM Global and additional financing provided by Sycamore Pictures and DMG Entertainment. IM Global will be selling international markets at Cannes.
“Welcome to the Punch” director Eran Creevy is helming from F. Scott Frazier’s screenplay. Jones and Hoult will portray a young American couple plunged into a game of cat and mouse across Germany when they find themselves caught between two ruthless criminals, played by Hopkins and Kingsley.
Joel Silver will produce through his Silver Pictures banner, along with Ben Pugh of 42, Brian Kavanaugh Jones of Automatik and Rory Aitken.
Jones starred in Ralph Fiennes’ “The Invisible Woman” and appears as the assistant to Dane DeHaan’s Harry Osborn character in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” which opens this weekend in the U.S.
