Emile Hirsch Joins ‘Ten Thousand Saints’

Butterfield, Steinfeld, Hawke also starring

Emile Hirsch has come on board the indie coming of age comedy “Ten Thousand Saints” opposite Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld and Ethan Hawke.

Production is slated start Monday. The film will be directed by Bob Pulcini and Shari Berman (“American Splendor”) with producers Anne Carey and Amy Nauiokas for Archer Gray Productions, Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray for Maven Pictures, and Luca Borghese.

“Ten Thousand Saints,” set in the Lower East Side of New York City in the 1980s, follows three screwed up young people and their equally screwed up parents.

Hirsch is currently starring in “Lone Survivor” and is set to play John Belushi in the biopic to be directed by Steve Conrad. He is represented by UTA and Silver Lining Entertainment.
