DreamWorks Taps Jasmine Madatian to Oversee PR

Jasmine Madatian Dreamworks

Jasmine Madatian has joined DreamWorks Studios as executive vice president, communications.

Madatian will be responsible for all communications strategies and media relations for the company, reporting to Jeff Small, president of DreamWorks Studios, and Holly Bario, president of production. She takes over for former head of publicity Chip Sullivan, who was promoted to head of global brand integration at DreamWorks Animation in September.

“Madatian is a highly skilled communications professional with an impressive track record,” said Small. “Her excellent relationships with media and members of the creative community make her the natural choice to guide our company’s communications efforts as we look towards the future.”

Madatian has held senior communications positions at Walt Disney Studios, Paramount Pictures, Fox and, most recently, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, where she oversaw all corporate communications and publicity for the Oscars.
