Diane Ladd, Eden Brolin to Star in Indie ‘I Dream Too Much’

Diane Ladd and Eden Brolin have been tapped to topline “I Dream Too Much,” an indie feature to be exec produced by Richard Linklater.

Danielle Brooks (“Orange is the New Black”), Christina Rouner and James McCaffrey also will star in the debut pic from writer-director Katie Cokinos. Film is due to start principal photography in New York this month.

Coming-of-age storyline centers on a young woman (Brolin) who volunteers to care for her great aunt (Ladd).

Jay Thames for 77 Films and Ed McWilliams for Attic Lights Films produce in association with Pantheon of Women, a Texas-based firm focused on producing movies by and about women.
