China’s ‘Women Who Flirt’ Set for U.S. Thanksgiving Release

HONG KONG — Chinese romantic comedy “Women Who Flirt” will be released in the U.S. and Canada in time for Thanksgiving.

The Pang Ho-cheung-directed movie was acquired by China Lion Film Distribution from IM Global.

China Lion has set a Nov. 26 release date in North America and a Nov. 27 release in Australia and New Zealand. It releases in mainland China on Friday, Nov. 28.

The Mandarin-language picture stars Zhou Xun and Huang Xiaoming, as well as Sui Tang and Xie Yi Lin, in a tale of one woman’s quest to save her male friend from his manipulative new girlfriend.

China Lion recently released “Breakup Buddies” and “But Always,” which have respectively become the company’s #1 and #2 highest grossing titles in North America.
