How sad there was no mention of The Professional her real break out movie.

  2. Noritarn32 says:

I love charlie hunnam. Make 50 shades of grey series. Charlie’s is the man!

  3. Aime Nardell says:

I would watch anything with actors Charlie Hunnam or Mem Ferda ( who also worked with Guy Ritchie in the film “Revolver” and this adaption of King Arthur is going to be epic!

  4. Kevin says:

I’m sure that it was decided by Warner Bros. for it to not go too far with Cavill. 6 movies as King Arthur and a Superman/Justice League franchises would run into some kind of conflict and overlap.

  5. Kevin says:

Kit Harrington would be great for the role also.

  6. Sam says:

Lol, how many roles is Henry Cavill going to keep losing out on? He is becoming a real non-entity in Hollywood.

  7. Monika A Simmons says:

Nice. Maybe he’ll get to speak with his regular English accent. Looking forward to seeing this one.

  8. Curious says:

I think Charlie Hunnam will be wonderful in the role of King Authur. Although he is truly gorgeous he is not just another pretty face, he is immensely talented and very well respected in the industry.

  9. Sabrina Delgado says:

I’ll watch anything with Charlie Hunnam in it.

  10. DorothyParkerlite says:

Honestly, Idris Elba would make a better King Arthur. He has the stance of a monarch. And technically, it’s possible since this was the time when Europe was seeing a lot of traveling between countries. I’d expect Hunnam to be more of a Lancelot. And yes! Merlin could be a woman. It would make a story that’s been told thousands of times a little more interesting, anyway. I’m really getting bored with safe casting.

  11. Ron Holmstrom says:

    Merlin will be a woman?

  12. Joann Hardcastle says:

Since we have no idea what Arthur looked like he is a better choice for this then Mr. Grey.

Jamie couldn’t have done it anyway, what with being the lead in the ‘9th Life of Louis Drax’ and ‘The Seige of Jadotville’, and still doing the tv series ‘The Fall’ and doing the next two Shades movies.

      • Curious says:

Clearly Dornan was neither offered the role nor was he considered for the role as he was not invited/asked to audition.
