Company plans three to four theatrical releases a year
LONDON — Alan Partington, who previously held senior roles at Guild, Pathe, Metrodome and Tartan Films, is to helm Bulldog Film Distribution, a new U.K. film distributor.
Partington will take up the role of managing director with immediate effect, and will be on the acquisitions trail at Cannes.
Partington said the company’s plan is to focus on three to four quality theatrical releases a year, in addition to around eight to 10 home entertainment titles.
Its catalog includes titles like “Margin Call” and “Garfield,” but the company will be looking for new titles to add to its library in Cannes.
