Busan Festival Hires Kim as Asia Programmer

This year's fest will run Oct. 2-11, 2014

HONG KONG — Kim Young-woo has been hired by the Busan International Film Festival as a new programmer for its key Asian section.

A former visual arts and TV major at the State University of New Jersey, Kim joins Busan, having previously programmed sections of the Chungmuro and and Green film festivals in South Korea.

He will share responsibilities with festival co-founder Kim Ji-seok and specialize in documentaries and short films.

This year’s festival will run Oct. 2-11, 2014.
