‘Big Hero 6’: Trailer for Disney and Marvel’s First Animated Project

Marvel and Walt Disney Animation Studios have released the first full-length trailer for their upcoming animated action flick, “Big Hero 6.”

The trailer finds robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada trying to convince a police officer that he was, in fact, attacked by a mysterious villain and an army of “micro-bots,” before setting off to defeat the faceless figure with the help of robot Baymax.

The first animated collaboration between Marvel and Disney, “Big Hero 6” is set in the high-tech city of San Fransokyo, and revolves around Hiro and Baymax, and their team of first-time crime fighters.

The CG-toon features the voices of Ryan Potter as Hiro, Scott Adsit as Baymax, along with Jamie Chung, T.J. Miller, Alan Tudyk, Maya Rudolph, James Cromwell and Damon Wayans Jr. Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”) will direct, with Roy Conli (“Tangled”) producing.

The film will be released on November 7.

Can’t wait for this, it looks goooood!! However, with a title like Big Hero 6, aren’t audiences going to wonder if this is a sequel and if they should watch the previous Big Hero 1 to 5? Similarly to others, e.g. Henry which was originally titled Henry VII, focus groups didn’t get it and it had to be re-titled in a lot of countries.

You can tell it’s Disney because every single female character looks the exact same. Disappointing.

I guess they had to change up this story a bit. Because of the fact that some of the “Big Hero 6” team consist of the Xmen characters which are owned by Fox due to their Xmen Movie rights. (Basically if you’re a “Newbie” to the story of Marvel Movies”, Once upon a time. There was a magical comic company named marvel/, Marvel decided to sell their movie rights for a bunch of their characters. because at the time, Marvel didn’t plan on making movies for their character, and basically prioritized Making money first.so they just sold them. They cluelessly sold their rights for some of their greatest characters not realising how it could stab them in the back in the future. Xmen and Fantastic four went to 20th Century Fox, and Spiderman to Sony. Basically meaning they can’t use any of the those characters or other characters that are used in those storylines in Marvel Studios(Disney) movies such as Avengers. With the exception of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. Who are played by different people in Avengers 2 and not connected to their versions in X-men Days Of Future Past and future Xmen movies.) So back to the main point. Big Hero 6 consisted of Hiro (The kid in the Trailer), BayMax (His robot he made for a science project), Silver Samerai (The Giant Evil Robotic Silver Dude Wolverine fights in “The Wolverine” (2013)),Sunfire (An Ex-Xmen and Cousin of the Mariko; Wolverines Love interest in “The Wolverine”(2013)) Sunpyre (Alternate reality version of Sunfire’s Deceased sister.), Ebon Samarai. (Someone who was killed by Silver Samarai, and came back to life to seek vengeance, and abandoning that goal due to a reason that I wont spoil.) and also a few other characters but they have nothing to do with this.
