AFI Fest Set for Nov. 6 to 13 in Hollywood


The AFI Fest has set its 28th edition for November 6 to 13 in Hollywood.

AFI has also opened filmmaker submissions through its website or through  June 27 is the early submission deadline and  August 8 is the final submission deadline for both features and shorts.

Last year’s festival opened with the North American premiere of “Saving Mr. Banks” and featured the world premieres of “Lone Survivor” and “Out of the Furnace,” along with tributes to David O. Russell and Bruce Dern.

The festival’s market partner is the American Film Market.
