Violet Berlin Film Festival

New Europe Film Sales has completed its Berlinale sales lineup with the addition of Bas Devos’ debut feature “Violet,” which plays in the Generation 14Plus section.

Pic is the story of 15-year-old Jesse, who is the only witness to the stabbing of his friend Jonas, and then has to face his family and friends.

It is produced by the Brussels-based company Minds Meet.

New Europe’s Berlin slate also includes “Above Us All,” which also plays in Generation 14Plus, and U.S. erotic thriller “Thou Wast Mild and Lovely,” helmed by Josephine Decker, which plays in Forum.
