‘Norte,’ ‘Numbers’ and ‘Boys’ being sold at EFM

M-Appeal World Sales has added Lav Diaz’s “Norte, the End of History,” documentary “How I Learned to Love the Numbers” and Mischa Kamp’s “Boys” to its Berlin sales slate.

Diaz’s pic centers on three people whose lives take an irreversible turn when one of them commits a crime. It premiered in Un Certain Regard in Cannes.

The film, which has already been picked up for distribution in France, the U.S. and the U.K., was produced by Moira Lang (a k a Raymond Lee).

“How I Learned to Love the Numbers,” helmed by Oliver Sechting and Max Taubert, is a docu about “obsessive-compulsive magical thought” and the New York art scene. It was produced by Rosa von Praunheim Filmproduktion.

“Boys,” which was produced by Netherland’s Pupkin Film, centers on 15-year-old Sieger, who is training with the athletics team for the national championships. When he meets the intriguing and unpredictable Marc, he discovers feelings that go far beyond their ordinary friendship.
