Busan Festival Announces Vision Awards

The Busan International Film Festival on Friday unveiled the awards presented by parallel organizations, which it calls the ‘Vision Awards’.

U.S. documentarian, Joshua Oppenheimer said that he dedicated his award “to everyone in the world pursuing freedom and justice, and also to the Indonesian people of the tragedy,” featured in his “The Look of Silence.”

Main festival prizes, including those for the New Currents competition section, will be announced at the closing ceremony tomorrow evening (Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014).
