Robert Pattinson Buys House in Hollywood Hills (EXCLUSIVE)

BUYER: Robert Pattinson
LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA
PRICE: $2,176,500
SIZE: 1,940 square feet, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

YOUR MAMA’S NOTES: While Robert Pattinson skulked around The Big Apple over the weekend with his arty-farty and — ahem — exotically named singer-songwriter gal pal FKA twigs — yes, that’s her chosen name, children — Your Mama heard from both celebrity real estate yenta Yolanda Yakketyyak and the inestimable Lucy Spillerguts that the “Twilight” franchise superstar turned up-and-coming leading man is the secret buyer behind the $2,176,500 blind trust purchase of a humble if well-appointed and hardly inexpensive home in a celebrity-filled pocket of the Hollywood Hills.

Set privately behind another house down a long, gated red brick driveway, the single-story hacienda-style casa has just two bedrooms and two bathrooms and comes in at 1,940-square feet, as per listing details we scared up out of the internets.

Rustic and satisfyingly well-patinated terra cotta tile floors run throughout the interconnected main living spaces — the flooring switches to wood in the bedrooms — that include a reasonably roomy living room with multiple French doors that open to the yard. Twin arches flank a minimalist, double-sided fireplace and lead into a sky-lit, combination kitchen and dining area with vaulted, open beam ceiling and a full-complement of high-end stainless steel appliances, including a $14,000 U.K.-manufactured cast iron range. Both bedrooms have custom built-in wardrobes and direct access to outdoor living and lounging areas and both bathrooms have arched and tiled combination shower/tubs, the hall bath in cobalt blue and the master bath in celery green.

A brick veranda runs along the inside façade of the angled residence and gives way to a somewhat compact but remarkably private and tree-shaded yard with good-sized flat lawn, wee kidney-shaped swimming pool and rugged canyon views. Courtyard areas around the side and rear of the residence include variety of terraces and a secluded spa set into a brick terrace tightly girdled by a thick wall of privacy ensuring shrubbery.

The property in question is remarkably more modest in scale and significantly less pricy than the celeb-pedigreed spread in L.A.’s Los Feliz ‘hood Mister Pattinson picked up in September 2011 for $6.275 million and sold in January 2014 for $6,375,000 to Emmy-hoovering sitcom supernova Jim Parsons. (The Los Feliz property was previously owned by Tinseltown notables Tim Curry, Noah Wylie, Robert Richardson, and Robert Luketic.)

Good grief! Look at the date this was posted — and is still shown as a featured property. Maybe the webmaster can Photoshop in some Christmas lights.

  2. Alex says:

An excellent bachelor pad. The size is perfect.

  3. Joyfull says:

Love the House. Hate the new Girlfriend. Everyone keeps forgetting that Kristen was in a 3 year relationship before Rpatz came into the picture. He chose the project because he was into Kristen. Then as soon she turned 18 somehow the boyfriend became an ex. and Rpatz weasles himself into life. Two sides to every story. Based on the pictures I saw it just looks like flirty not cheating. Oh I am so sure that Rpatz was back in LA or NY being a good little boy. PLEASE.

  4. Chuck Raney says:

There is a home in this conversation ? Weird.

  5. i am rad says:

ASK GOOGLE IS KRISTEN STEWART CHEATING PHOTOS FAKE.. AND FIND THE TRUTH. ALL ROBERT PARADING AROUND WITH TWIGS, IF THIS WAS ROBERT WOULD HAVE DONE BEFORE, NO ROBERT DO NOT ACT THIS WAY. SELLING HIS PRRIVATE LIFE.

  7. I think that Robert Pattinson has need a good choice for himself and his new girlfriend fka twigs the British song writer /musician

  8. Larry says:

So many bitter KStew fans. Why? He didn’t do anything to her. It’s too bad this article, probably unintentionally, catered into their hate.

It’s a nice property. Love the vegetable gardens and outdoor spa. Think he overpaid a bit though.

  9. jayne says:

So cute and perfect for when he needs to be in L.A. Great house for a bachelor!

  10. Guest says:

What weird comments about a home purchase. Really neat little house. $2.1m though for a part time place Jeez!

  11. kk says:

I like the house it’s really nice but if I was gonna buy a 3 million dollar home I would have bought it somewhere else instead of where my ex lives….j/s…so peps plz don’t jump me for saying it…

  12. Petra's says:

Oh Lawd, the Twihards are still around? Who knew?

Mama, it’s high time you busted out the ol’ wooden spoon!

  13. Bebo says:

This seems very Rob. Quaint and cosy, small and nothing too ostentatious. I loved his other home, but it was way too big for one guy and the grounds alone must have been a nightmare to maintain. This seems much more manageable. It’s not like he’ll be there full time anyway. I fully expect he will have a place in London, maybe New York too.

  14. Jamiekins says:

Mama can we talk about an edit button for the comments section ?
It would help when these transients move through here and piss me off and make me misspell words in your defense, while I feverishly type :-) I would prefer to correct my spelling before I lambaste them about their whining.
    thanks
    moi
P.S. When did this blog start being a comment section about the celebs ? Don’t these dweebs know it’s about the homes celebrities buy as opposed to their personal opinions about the celeb ?

  15. Jamiekins says:

    Or whining that is LOL

  16. Jamiekins says:

What is with all the whinging spell checkers on here today ?

  17. Sam says:

Dude can’t stick to a decision. First loved LA. A few weeks ago he dissed LA and Hollywood by saying could not live in LA and wanted to go back home nor wanted what Hollywood has to offer. Too much money, fame and opportunities thrown at this guy too soon which he has not earned. Others have to work harder and longer to have what he has.

  18. sharon says:

GO BACK TO LONDON ROB AND TWIGS……..

  19. Gone Girl says:

Love the arty farty, exotic name comments. Those words alone just puts this in perspective how the whole persona is even more ridiculous.

I thought Rob was tired of Hollywood and moving back to London. Maybe as suggested this is his layove pad while he is here doing business. Good for him to move over the pond and get away from HW. They can walk hand and hand and look happy over there

  20. lil' gay boy says:

Kinda weird, low-key rehab clinic vibe; but it’s simple and manageable, albeit slightly cramped (wedged between the front house and another flag lot property beyond it).

Still for the price, size & sliver of a view it’s quite likable; now all we have to do is wait for all the tweenie fans to ooze out of the woodwork, professing deep knowledge of his no doubt broken hearted angst…

  21. nia says:

Damn, so London is out. I thought he as tired of LA. Hypocrite.

    • Bebo says:

Ad here we have niagirl again. Wow, you keep better track of Rob articles than some Rob fans. Can you say obsessed? Lol.

    • femmeonfilms says:

Nia, a pied a terre is a small home used when someone frequently travels to an area. This home seems to perfectly meet those needs. Even if he’s not planning on living in LA full time, he will always be spending time there…after all Los Angeles is where business is done for Hollywood.

  22. Jamiekins says:

All uninformed passers by aside, I like this little house, it’s a cute little bachelor pad and just right for somone his age. Not the mega domiciles we see so often but he is young and traveling about.
It’s not like he is glued to tinsel town through an industry position he has to cling to.
    Well done Robert
    God Save the Queen

  23. Mi says:

If you don’t respect an actor then be so kind and respect your readers you’re after all Variety reporter.Children?Arty-farty?

    • Natalie says:

I agree with you, and really disliked the article. Maybe I’m just being a bit too sensitive considering the racists remarks that has been directed towards this singer, but the tone of the article was very disrespectful in nature. Very disappointed in Variety

      • Blixie says:

Jamiekins, ‘singer who’s suffered racial abuse’ refers to Twigs, not Pattinson. Obviously.

      • Jamiekins says:

Are you deaf dumb or blind ? First of all, he isn’t known for being a singer, he is famous for the
Twilight movies and second of all this blog has been going on for years just the way it is and
you rediculous people that keep whining about it look silly, since it has it’s own following and has had for years. When you whine about the Realestalker it only shows that your not familiar with
the blog or the writer that has done this for years. And we all enjoy Mama very much. So you won’t change anything just move on.

    • Jamiekins says:

Your the one that has no respect since you know nothing about the Realestalker blog…If you don’t understand the blog then your the one that looks rediculous. This reporter has been doing this for years and knows exactly what they are writing about. So pay attention or butt out.
You don’t know what is going on here OBVIOUSLY..

      • Jamiekins says:

Yes, Caryn you’re correct about that particular usage of the word however your brain OBVIOUSLY
doesn’t have a comprehend button, because the blog has been this way for years and anyone who would make such a statement isn’t in tune with what is going on here. So pull your head out of your……oh well you get the point…

      • Jamiekins says:

The article as you call it has ALWAYS had a snarky tone to it. That is what most of the followers of the blog enjoy about it. So if you don’t understand it, just move on. We enjoy the snark
and Mama who wrote it. You won’t change it you only look dumb for noticing it and not understanding the overall blog. IT is what makes the blog what it is… keep moving if you don’t like it.

      • Caryn says:

The article does have a disrespectful snarky tone to it. Unnecessary. You Jamiekins need to stay in school because you haven’t mastered spelling and don’t know the difference between your and you’re. OBVIOUSLY

      • Dori says:

Are you okay? Realestalker makes lame calls about musicians? That’s what this is all about? Sounds pretty ‘rediculous’ to me.

  24. 007 says:

damn))) he is going to London, let him go there who needs it with his pornopevitsey in LA, coke and sold there)))
