Bright House subscribers also to gain access to A+E Networks authenticated services
Time Warner Cable subscribers will be able to watch a range of A+E Networks programming online and on mobile devices — including full episodes Lifetime’s “Project Runway,” A&E’s “Duck Dynasty” and History’s “Swamp People” — starting Thursday under a pact between the two companies.
Under the deal, TW Cable customers can watch full episodes, movies and clips from the three cablers on Apple iOS and Android phones and tablets, as well as on personal computers via the web, at no additional cost. Starting next week, customers of Bright House Networks, which has an agreement to piggyback on Time Warner Cable’s programming deals, also will be able to access the A+E authenticated video services.
TW Cable customers must log in to the A+E apps using their username and password; customers who do not have a Time Warner Cable ID can create one at twc.com/account.
The A&E, History and Lifetime apps also lets users post what they’re watching to Twitter or Facebook and send emails to friends with a direct link. Customers can download the apps for free from Apple’s iTunes App Store and Google Play.
