DramaFever has announced the addition of digital media veteran Ross Levinsohn to its board of directors.

Previously CEO at Yahoo! and Guggenheim Digital Media, Levinsohn has more than 20 years of experience with media and investing.  He has also served as president at Fox Interactive Media and managing director at Fuse Capital.  Levinsohn currently sits on the boards of the Tribune Co., Zefr, Millennial Media and the National Assn. of Television Program Executives.

“The digital video space is going through an amazing transformation and DramaFever is on the cutting edge of that change,” said Levinsohn in a statement.  “DramaFever built a standalone video business and platform that is growing rapidly and monetizing a catalogue of hundreds of premium titles from Asia, Europe and the Americas, with more than 14 thousand episodes that reaches millions of people each month.  I am thrilled to be part of this stellar team.”

“We are so honored to have a captain of industry joining our board,” added Seung Bak, DramaFever co-founder and co-CEO. “Ross’s vast experience and knowledge in both traditional and digital media can only add fuel to the fire in terms of our already established success as a company.”

DramaFever’s owned and operated properties and syndications channels average more than 20 million viewers per month.
