Oscilloscope has reached its first agreement with Amazon to stream 20 titles through the Prime Instant Video service.

The pact also makes Amazon the exclusive streaming subscription home for four of the indie distributor’s titles: “We Need to Talk About Kevin,” “Stand Clear of the Closing Doors,” “The Human Scale” and dirt-bike documentary “12 O’Clock Boys.”

Other Oscilloscope titles that will become available through Amazon include the documentary “If a Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front,” the comedy “It’s a Disaster,” the documentary “After Tiller,” the Spike Jonze-Lance Bangs documentary “Tell Them Anything You Want: A Portrait of Maurice Sendak” and Michel Gondry’s “The Thorn in the Heart.”

Oscilloscope said, “Amazon is a major force within the digital video space and is a big supporter of independent cinema and we greatly value the association with them and see this as the start to our exciting work together.”
