Lolflix Partners With Hulu to Create Comedy Festival Channel

Lolflix Santa Barbara Comedy Festival

Hulu and Lolflix are creating a new channel for laughs.

Lolflix partnered with the online subscription service to create and expand its audience for the annual Santa Barbara LOL Comedy Festival, creating a new channel, which is now live on Hulu, to showcase the events at the annual fest.

It will be updated throughout the festival, which runs from Sept. 2- 7.

The six-day event includes live performances from comedians including Russell Peters and Jeff Jefferies. Other pre-taped comedic performances will be available for broadcast on the channel.

“The Santa Barbara LOL Comedy Festival page will highlight daily content throughout the festival, giving our fans who are unable to attend the ability to share a little in the experience,” said Lolflix CEO Scott Montoya in a statement.

Special content will also be available through the Hulu channel. Lolflix will exclusively premiere four one-hour specials and have interviews and back-stage scenes from the comedy specials.
