Lindsay Lohan filed suit against Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive Software in New York City on Wednesday, saying the creators of “Grand Theft Auto V” used her image to create a character based on her without permission.

Rumors began swirling seven months ago that Lohan was planning to take legal action — and now she has, according to Forbes.

In her suit Lohan asserts that a character in the popular videogame named Lacey Jonas is an “unequivocal” reference to her image, voice, styles from her clothing line, and to West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont hotel, where Lohan once lived.

“The portraits of the Plaintiff (Lohan) incorporated her image, likeness, clothing, outfits, Plaintiff’s clothing line products, ensemble in the form of hats, hair style, sunglasses, jean shorts worn by the Plaintiff that were for sale to the public for at least two years,” the suit states, reports the New York Daily News.

Also, in the game, players can take part in a mission to help the character avoid paparazzi during the story mode.

Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games have yet to respond to the suit.

Released in September, “Grand Theft Auto V” has generated sales of more than $1 billion, making it the fastest-selling entertainment product in history.

Does anyone really care what she does at this point. I’m sure at this point she does these to have her name in the news.

  2. Since when can you sue for satire ? This won’t even make it to court.

  3. Is suing for damages her only source of income these days? She also sued Pitbull for using her name in a song without permission a while back. Who really cares at this point? Lindsay is the most self-absorbed, pointless person I’ve never met.
