Morgan had been consulting for Endemol Beyond USA to lead digital development efforts on behalf of current talent partners since January. In the new role, she oversees the lifestyle network of YouTube star Michelle Phan, who inked a pact with Endemol in May 2014, to develop original digital content.
“Morgan’s intelligence, business acumen and experience in the digital and lifestyle spaces has been a great asset to Endemol Beyond USA,” said Will Keenan, president of the unit.
Prior to working with Endemol, Morgan was exec producer of Phan’s FAWN digital lifestyle channel, which had received some funding from Google. Morgan also has worked with BermanBraun, EQAL and Discovery Communication’s Revision3 as a consultant for digital strategy and created programming on behalf of talent including Kobe Bryant, Paula Deen and Sherri Shepherd and others.
Endemol Beyond USA has signed deals to develop content with talent including Drea de Matteo, Vine creator Brittany Furlan and tween YouTube pop-rapper MattyB. In addition, Endemol North America announced an exclusive overall deal with Pitbull in January spanning TV and digital.
