Vice President Joseph Biden will deliver the keynote address at the Creativity Conference on May 2, an event sponsored by the MPAA, ABC News and Microsoft.

The event, held the day before the White House Correspondents Dinner, began last year. The purpose is to highlight how entertainment and technology companies are bridging the gap in offering new products and content.

This year’s event, to be held at the Newseum, also will feature House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), who is in the midst of holding hearings on a major revise of the Copyright Act.

Former President Bill Clinton was the keynote speaker at last year’s conference.
