Ready for Hillary Sets Another L.A. Fete

For Partisan Media, Midterm Election Yields

Hillary Clinton has yet to announce whether she is running for president, but several industry figures are lending their names to the independent effort to support her candidacy.

Philanthropist Daphna Ziman will host a $1,000-per-person reception at her home on Dec. 18 for Ready for Hillary, the independent SuperPAC that has been raising money for more than a year in anticipation of Clinton’s candidacy. Also on the host committee are John Branca, Morgan Fairchild, Tom Girardi, Ada Horwich, Lora O’Connor and Debra and Kaitlyn Olson, according to the invite. Hosts are asked to contribute $5,000 per person.

Craig Smith, who was senior adviser to Ready for Hillary and former White House political director, will be special guest.

Ready for Hillary held an event in September at the home of Howard Gordon, executive producer of “Homeland,” with Burt Bacharach the special guest.
