IFT’s Horror ‘Exists’ Scares up Multiple Deals

BERLIN — International Film Trust has sold further territories on horror film “Exists” to multinational distributor Entertainment one (eOne).

The company acquired rights in Germany, France, Benelux, Scandinavia and South Africa, in addition to a previously agreed deal for the U.K.

In addition, IFT sold the picture Japan to AT Entertainment, the Middle East to Shooting Stars, Malaysia and Thailand to Sahamongkol, Philippines to Pioneer, Singapore to Cathay, Taiwan to Well Go, CIS to Luxor, India to Pictureworks, Mexico and Pan Latin PTV to Dragon Multimedia, and Pan Asia PTV to Star TV.

Directed by Eduard Sanchez’s (“The Blair Witch Project”), “Exists” features five friends who venture into the forest for a party and encounter something that may be the ‘bigfoot’ monster. It is produced by Jane Fleming, Mark Ordesky, Andy Jenkins, and Robin Cowie.
