Fox Networks has promoted two top distribution execs: Jessica Fang rises to senior VP of distribution, national accounts while David Espinosa advances to senior VP of distribution, strategic analysis.
The announcement was made by FN distribution president Michael Biard.
Fang will expand her oversight of FN’s day-to-day relationships with national distributors and negotiate distribution agreements covering all of FN’s media platforms. She also negotiates compensation for retransmission consent for Fox’s owned-and-operated broadcast stations and advises on strategies and tactics in dealing with top distributors.
Fang has been with Fox since 2002.
Espinosa will take on an expanded leadership role in the strategy, negotiation, implementation and administration of affiliation and retransmission consent agreements between Fox and all major cable, satellite and telco providers. He began his career at Fox in 2006.
“Navigating the complex and rapidly changing distribution landscape requires equal parts business acumen, financial analysis, finesse and gut instincts,” Biard said. “With Jessica and David at the helm of some of our most critical initiatives, it’s clear our interests are in good hands. They are two of our brightest stars, and we are delighted to recognize their significant contributions with these well-deserved promotions.”
