CBS Communications has promoted Ian Metrose to Senior Vice President, Talent Relations & Special Events. The news was announced by Chris Ender, Executive Vice President of Communications, CBS Corp., to whom Metrose reports.
In his new position, Metrose will oversee West Coast special events for the both the CBS Television Network and CBS Television Studios, including series premieres, show milestone celebrations, Television Academy events and the planning and execution of the Network’s Television Critics Association parties. He’ll also head up talent relations and philanthropy for CBS Entertainment and CBS Television Studios.
“Ian is our go-to guy for a wide range of events and support services that greatly benefit our Entertainment operations, and he does it all with amazing taste, style and incredible attention to detail,” said Ender in a statement.
Metrose served as Vice President, Talent Relations & Special Events since June 2005. He joined CBS in December 2003 as Director of Talent Relations & Special Events. Prior to CBS, Metrose was Director of Special Events & Promotions at Fox Searchlight. Metrose also worked at Castle Rock Entertainment as Director of Publicity & Promotions.
