Agencies place clients on film and TV projects

The Gersh Agency has booked producer Jean Higgins (“Lost”) on Amazon Studios pilot “Man in the High Castle,” helmed by David Semel; production designer Michael Hanan (“The Bridge”) on Spike TV miniseries “King Tut”; and editor Joe Leonard (“Glee”) on Fox series “Empire.”

Innovative Artists bookings include visual effects producer Nikki Penny (“Clash of the Titans”) on Andy Serkis’ “Jungle Book”; production designer Scott Chambliss (“Star Trek Into Darkness”) on Roberto Orci’s “Star Trek 3”; and stunt coordinator/2nd unit director Jack Gill (“Fast & Furious 7”) on Tim Story’s “Ride Along 2.”

iTalent has placed editors Mark Livolsi (“Saving Mr. Banks”) on John Favreau’s “The Jungle Book” and Jeff Betancourt (“Get a Job”) on Woo-ping Yuen’s “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon II: The Green Destiny.”)

Mirisch Agency bookings: visual effects producers Mike Chambers (“Transcendence”) on James Bobin’s “Through The Looking Glass” and Karen Murphy (“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2”) on James Wan’s “Fast & Furious 7”; and editor Roger Barton (“Transformers: Age of Extinction”) on Alan Taylor’s “Terminator: Genesis.” On Netflix series “Grace and Frankie” Mirisch has placed editors Lisa Churgin (“Barely Lethal”) Michael Jablow (“The Fosters”).

The Partos Co. has booked production designers Alex DiGerlando (pictured right) (“True Detective”) on Gus Van Sant’s “Sea of Trees” and Michael Grasley (“Life After Beth”) on Austin Stark’s “The Runner,” with Nicholas Cage; and d.p. John Guleserian (“About Time”) on Drake Doremus’ “Equals.”

Sandra Marsh & Associates has booked production designers Dante Ferretti (pictured left) (“Hugo”) (pictured left) on Martin Scorsese’s “Silence” and John Myhre (“X-Men: Days of Future Past”) on Zhang Yimou’s “Monolith.” Agency also booked d.p.’s Barry Ackroyd (“Captain Phillips”) on Sean Penn’s “The Last Face” and Sean Bobbitt (“12 Years a Slave”) on Barry Levinson’s “Rock the Kasbah.” TV bookings include costume designers Hope Hanafin on season 3 of HBO’s “The Newsroom” and Gabriella Pescucci on season 2 of Showtime’s “Penny Dreadful.”

The Skouras Agency editors are busy: Bob Leighton (“Chef”) is cutting Nancy Myers’ “The Intern,” John Axelrad (“Crazy Heart”) is on Don Cheadle’s “Miles Ahead” and Peter McNulty (“The Master”) is editing Brian Helgeland’s “Legend.”

Mako Kamitsuna (pictured middle) (“Anesthesia”), repped by Worldwide Production Agency (WPA), has joined the editing team on Michael Mann’s “Cyber.” Agency has also booked cinematographers Markus Förderer (“I Origins”) on Roland Emmerich’s “Stonewall” and Brian Pearson (“Reasonable Doubt”) on Leigh Whannell “Insidious: Chapter 3.”
