Art Directors Guild Expands Voting, Lifetime Achievement Awards

The Art Directors Guild, Local 800 Council and producers of the 19th Annual Art Directors Guild’s Excellence in Production Design Awards have expanded final second-phase voting for winners to include all members of the Guild. The news was announced by John Shaffner, council chairman, and co-producers Dave Blass and James Pearse Connelly.

Final voting will now include scenic, title and graphic artists, illustrators, storyboard artists and matte artists, and set design and model makers, and is open to all members of the nearly 2,300 member guild.

The ADG Council also announced that is has voted to expand the honorary Lifetime Achievement awards to include members selected from all four crafts, annually.

The voting expansion is effective with the upcoming ADG Awards, set for January 31, 2015 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Nominations for the awards will be announced on January 5, 2015.
