Less than a year after stepping into the top post, Zodiak USA CEO Natalka Znak is departing the company to pursue new professional endeavors.

Znak will exit at the end of the month, when her contract is up. A spokesperson at the shingle stated the departure is “amicable.”

Zodiak does not have a successor lined up yet.

In July, Znak was officially tapped as the CEO of Zodiak’s Stateside arm, just a handful of months after former chief Grant Mansfield stepped down to return to the U.K. She oversaw Zodiak’s U.S. programming slate, which includes reality skeins “Celebrity Wife Swap,” “Killer Karaoke” and TruTV’s hit show “Hardcore Pawn.”

The move is surprising, as Znak’s short tenure as CEO was moving in a successful direction, with “Pawn” establishing itself as backbone programming for TruTV, and “Wife Swap” still pulling solid numbers for the Alphabet.
