Orders 10 hourlong episodes of docuseries

WE TV has renewed “Mary Mary” for a third season, ordering 10 hourlong episodes of the docuseries.

Reality skein centers on the professional and personal lives of Erica and Tina Campbell of Grammy-winning gospel group Mary Mary. Season two of has topped season one of “Mary Mary” by 16% in total viewership.

“During the current season of ‘Mary Mary,’ viewers witnessed two incredible births: Tina’s baby boy and Erica and Tina’s hit single, ‘Go Get It,’ which went on to win the duo a Grammy Award,” said Lauren Gellert, WE TV’s senior veep of original production and development. “It’s exactly this type of dimensionality that WE tv spotlights in women. Erica and Tina juggle their lives with grace and style; they are amazing role models for today’s young women and a great addition to WE TV.”
