Singapore channels nets MTV, Nick, Nick Jr., Comedy Central

BEIJING — Viacom Intl. Media Networks will bow Southeast Asian versions of MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Comedy Central on SingTel’s feevee service Mio in Singapore, along with Nickelodeon-branded events on the ground to boost the brand.

Comedy Central will be the first English entertainment channel brand to be carried on all three subscription TV platforms in Singapore, said VIMN Asia’s executive VP and managing director, Indra Suharjono.

Details about launch dates and price plans will be announced in the coming weeks, Viacom said.
