Exec has logged over a dozen years with the corporation
Michael Feeney has been upped to exec veep of corporate communications at A+E Networks.
Feeney had previously served as senior v.p. of corporate communications since 2006. In his elevated position, Feeney will oversee all global communications and marketing along with philanthropic and community outreach initiatives for A+E Networks.
A+E’s portfolio of cablers includes A&E, Lifetime, History, bio, H2 and LMN.
“Michael has been the architect of A+E Networks’ successful communications strategy for the past decade,” said Nancy Dubuc, prez and CEO of the company, to whom Feeney will report. “He is one of the most effective communicators in our industry and I am delighted he is a part of my management team.”
Feeney has been a part of the A+E Networks family since 2001, when he joined as History’s director of publicity and public affairs. Prior to his tenure at A+E, Feeney worked as a flack at NBC News and NBC Entertainment.
