Both skeins performing well for Turner Broadcasting cabler

TruTV is tacking on additional episodes to the current seasons of “Impractical Jokers” and “Hardcore Pawn: Chicago,” both of which are performing solidly for the cabler.

Net ordered 13 more episodes for the second run of “Jokers.” “Pawn: Chicago” received an additional eight episodes for its frosh season. This brings “Jokes” second season to 28 episodes, and “Pawn: Chicago’s” seminal run to 17 episodes.

“Jokers” is averaging 1.8 million viewers in its Thursday at 10 p.m. timeslot, up 26% compared to its first season. The show’s Feb. 7 telecast topped 2 million viewers.

“Hardcore Pawn: Chicago,” a member of truTV’s popular “Hardcore Pawn” franchise, premiered on Jan. 1 to over 2.1 million viewers, the cabler’s biggest series launch ever. “Chicago” will air its midseason finale on Tuesday at 10 p.m.

“Impractical Jokers” hails from NorthSouth Prods. “Hardcore Pawn: Chicago” is produced by Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment.
