TNT orders Bruckheimer reality skein ‘Marshal Law: Texas’

Six-episode series chronicles search for violent criminals

TNT has ordered Jerry Bruckheimer’s reality show “Marshal Law: Texas” to series.

Unscripted skein from Jerry Bruckheimer TV, Warner Horizon TV and Megalomedia is set in Houston, Texas, and follows law-enforcement agencies as they track down some of America’s most wanted violent criminals. Cabler ordered six episodes of “Marshal Law” and plans to bow the skein this year.

Greenlighting comes as TNT continues to ramp up its original unscripted programming slate, which includes recent project announcements “Cold Justice” (from Dick Wolf) and “Save Our Business,” a broad business-makeover series. In February, the cabler will debut reality show “Boston’s Finest” from Donnie Wahlberg, and will roll out Dwayne Johnson’s “The Hero” and “72 Hours” this summer.

Bruckheimer will exec produce “Marshal Law” along with Jonathan Littman and Jonathan Nowzaradan.
