Halloween-themed hour bags 3.1 million viewers Sunday
America’s fascination with Honey Boo Boo has carried over into the new year, with TLC’s special episode on Sunday hitting series highs.
“Here Comes Honey Boo Boo: A Very Boo Halloween” averaged a 1.3 rating/3 share in adults 18-49 and 3.08 million viewers, according to Nielsen, a larger audience than any of the show’s first-season episodes. The spec also established a new series high for the show in women 18-49 (1.06 million) and women 25-54 (992,000), with TLC standing as basic cable’s No. 2 program in those demos during the 9 o’clock hour.
“Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” returns Sunday to TLC with the premiere of its Thanksgiving special.
