‘Swamp’ editorial crew walks off job

Employees allege unfair labor practices

The editorial crew of “Swamp People” has walked off the job, alleging unfair labor practices.

Local 700 of the Intl. Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees said that management of “Swamp People,” a docu-reality series produced for History by Original Media operating under the name CCM Projects, had unlawfully interfered with employees’ rights by interrogating employees about union organizing activity.

The union said that it has told members and potential members not to service the production.

A spokeswoman for History had no comment.

The fourth season of “Swamp People,” which follows several alligator hunters in Louisiana, debuted last week.
