Skydance TV Taps Carolyn Harris as V.P., Promotes Pair

Trio will report to Marcy Ross, who leads Skydance's TV division

Skydance’s recently established TV arm has hired Carolyn Harris as vice president, and promoted Bill Bost to manager of development and Sasha Garron to coordinator. Trio will report to Marcy Ross, the former Fox exec who joined Skydance TV as prez.

“Marcy has assembled an amazing team of executives to build Skydance Television into a friendly home for all creators,” said David Ellison, topper of Skydance Prods. “Expanding our television department is an exciting step towards building Skydance into the multifaceted virtual studio that I have always envisioned.”

Harris joins Skydance from Schorr Pictures, where she served as veep of TV. Before her tenure at Robin Schorr’s shingle, Harris was an agent at WME’s books to TV packaging department, and logged time at FilmNation Entertainment as a development exec.

Bost’s elevation arrives after serving as exec assistant to Ellison. Garron, formerly Ross’s exec assistant when Ross led Fox’s current programming, followed her former boss to Skydance. She began her career at Gersh.

Ross added of the hires: “I am thrilled to have found Carolyn and Bill to help me build Skydance Television into a vibrant and successful studio. Carolyn brings a wealth of experience and relationships from the literary world and Bill, coming from Skydance Features, helps to bring his vast knowledge of Skydance as an important brand to the work we do on the television side. Rounding out the team is Sasha Garron, who was promoted to Coordinator.”
