Deals include 'Real Humans,' 'The Hour'

LONDON

Shine Intl. has sold more 60 hours of drama to France to air across ARTE, Canal Plus, TF6, Orange and NBCUniversal.

Lineup includes the network premiere of the first season of Swedish sci-fi “Real Humans” on ARTE followed by transmission on TF6.

Made by Matador Film for Swedish pubcaster SVT1, “Real Humans” is set in a fantasy world populated by humans and human-robots.

RTE has also secured the rights to the first two seasons of Kudos’ newsroom-based miniseries “The Hour,” starring Dominic West, set in 1950s London.

“The Hour” premiered in Gaul on Orange, which airs the second season in February.

Canal Plus has acquired the first season of another Kudos show, action drama “Hunted,” exec produced by Frank Spotnitz.

Canuck medical drama “The Listener” returns to French screens with its third season on NBCUniversal’s 13eme RUE.

“The Listener” is produced by Shaftesbury Film & Television and was commissioned by Canadian commercial web CTV.
