Sharp Entertainment Launches U.K. Arm

Shingle is behind reality shows including Nat Geo's 'Doomsday Preppers'

Reality production company Sharp Entertainment is heading over the Pond with the creation of London-based Sharp U.K. Amelia Pulsford will serve as director of content and help lead the new branch.

Sharp, which is owned by CORE Media Group, produces unscripted programs including “Doomsday Preppers,” “Man vs. Food” and “Extreme Couponing.”

A Sharp Entertainment alum herself, Pulsford will report to Sharp Entertainment CEO Matt Sharp, and work with CORE’s U.K. team.

“Having worked with us for three years and across a wide range of our key shows, Amelia has the experience and is the perfect person to translate the Sharp brand to the U.K.,” said the shingle’s chief.
