Sher will keep his equity stake in RSP as he moves on from the reality shingle
After five years with the unscripted shingle, Adam Sher is stepping down from his role as CEO of Ryan Seacrest Prods.
Sher will retain his equity stake in the company known for producing E! series including “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” A new prexy has yet to be appointed, but sources indicate that a hire should be made by early next year, with Sher helping to shepherd the new exec into the top post.
While Sher is exiting his role as leader of Seacrest’s production company, he will continue to manage the versatile showbiz tycoon’s talent biz and other entrepreneurial opportunities. Thus far, Sher has logged 15 years working on the talent side of Seacrest’s empire.
At RSP, Jeff Refold will now serve as chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Kelly Mullens Brown has nabbed the new title of prexy of strategy, marketing and communications at Ryan Seacrest Enterprises. Both will continue to report to Seacrest.
