Kelley to develop projects for HBO with Melissa Loy under new unnamed banner
Mike Kelley, creator of ABC’s primetime sudser “Revenge,” has signed a two-year overall deal with HBO, Variety has confirmed.
As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Kelley will develop new TV projects for HBO with his producing partner Melissa Loy.
Word of the pay TV pact arrives after Kelley announced in April that he would be stepping down from the Alphabet’s Emily VanCamp-starrer. “Revenge” e.p. Sunil Nayar will now lead the drama, which is currently in its third season.
In addition to creating “Revenge,” Kelley’s TV resume includes writing credits on “Providence,” “The O.C.” and “One Tree Hill.”
