Model is survived by husband Marty Krofft
Working as a secretary at Bank of America, Speck was discovered by Playboy and subsequently served as a Bunny in the Chicago club, lived in the Mansion and was featured in the mag’s 60s pictorials “Playmate Holiday House Party,” “Playmate Pillow Fight and Bunnies” and “The Playboy Mansion.”
Speck set a fan mail record for her day and was selected by editors and readers as one of their 10 favorite Playmates from the mag’s first decade.
Born Aug. 1, 1942, in Danzig, Germany, Speck was named Playmate of the Month in September 1961, and in 1962 she netted Playmate of the Year.
She is survived by Krofft, their three daughters and five grandchildren.
