Outside TV has added two new unscripted shows to its lineup as the niche cabler continues to grow its original programming slate.“The Final Cut: Outside’s Adventure Film School” centers on an actual mountainside school in the Rocky Mountains that caters to students who want to direct, produce and edit their own adventure films. Filmmakers are mentored by Emmy winner and mountaineer Michael Brown, skier Chris Davenport and former Nat Geo exec Carrie Regan. Outside TV will debut the program this spring. “EpicQuest,” from One Eyed Bird Prods., focuses on globe-trotting adventure travel company EpicQuest. Hourlong docudrama series will bow this fall. “Outside Television attracts some of the most passionate and active people on the planet ,” said Rob Faris, senior veep of programming and production at the cabler.Outside TV, which launched in 2010, initially served America’s ski and beach resort communities. Last summer, however, cabler began rolling out on providers including Comcast and Xfinity. Outside TV is currently available in more that eight million TV homes across the U.S.
