Obama Recently Called ‘Duck Dynasty’ a ‘Pretty Fun Bunch’

Prior to “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson’s suspension, the hit A&E reality series drew praise from none other than President Obama himself.

In an interview with People magazine, which hits newsstands Friday, Obama called the “Duck Dynasty” family a “pretty fun bunch.”

Obama was responding to a question as to whether he would rather spend a day with the “Duck Dynasty” crew or Kanye West.

“The ‘Duck Dynasty’ family seems like a pretty fun bunch, so I can see how that would be pretty fun. Kanye’s music is outstanding, though. I’ve got a lot of his stuff on my iPad. If it was a concert, then I might not mind listening to him,” he said.

Robertson, the patriarch of A&E’s embattled reality program, was put on indefinite hiatus Thursday following his comments regarding homosexuality published in a GQ magazine article.
