NBC has ordered a pilot for “Alice in Wonderland”-inspired project “Wonderland” from “CSI” creator Anthony Zuiker.
From Universal TV, drama centers on Clara, who travels to the fantastical world of Wonderland to wage ware against the reigning but malevolent queen — the woman once known as Alice. Whit Anderson has penned the pilot. Zuiker and Matthew Weinberg will exec produce through their Dare to Pass banner, along with JoAnn Alfano through Brillstein. Margaret Riley will also exec produce. The CW is also considering an “Alice in Wonderland” project titled “Wunderland,” though the net has yet to order a pilot.
