NBC Appoints Disney Exec For Current Programming

Phil Breman to report to exec veep Vernon Sanders

NBC has tapped Phil Breman as vice prez of current programming. Breman joins the Peacock after serving as exec director of original series at Disney Channel.

In his post at NBC, Breman is tasked with overseeing new comedies and dramas for the upcoming season, including “Sean Saves the World” and “Welcome to the Family.”

In addition to his five year tenure at Disney Channel, Breman has worked as a producer and staff writer at Paramount and Warner Bros. TV. NBC’s hiring of Breman brings his career full circle, as he began his work in TV as a coordinator at the Peacock.
