Apparently there is no limit to the number of hours that the Kardashians can be on TV. Kris Jenner, matriarch of the made-for-TV clan, is mounting her own daily yakker that will have a test run this summer on a handful of Fox O&Os.“Kris” is billed as an entertainment talkshow revolving around celebs, fashion and beauty trends and other lifestyle topics. Fox’s Twentieth TV is producing the show and is hoping for a national rollout if the summer run fares well. Fox didn’t specify the number of outlets onboard for the test, but it will include New York and Los Angeles O&Os. “This is something I’ve wanted to do all my life,” Jenner said. The Fox station group has increasingly relied on test runs in select markets before committing to full-blown national launches of firstrun shows, both from its sibling distrib and outside suppliers. The Debmar-Mercury yakker hosted by Wendy Williams started with a test run in Fox markets, as did Warner Bros.’ Bethenny Frankel-hosted talker, which is set for a national rollout this fall.
